Overview

Water security is vital for growing food, fibre, and plants in South East Queensland (SEQ), one of Queensland’s
key farming areas. With unpredictable weather, rising water demand, and pressure on current water supplies,
the Queensland Government is working on ways to improve water access and support sustainable farming in
SEQ.

The South East Queensland Agriculture Regional Water Assessment (SEQAgRWA) is a project designed to find
ways to make water more available and reliable for farmers in SEQ.
